All our Eco shoes contain 50% or more sustainably sourced materials by weight, reducing our impact on the planet and helping protect our four-legged friends. Easy on your feet, easier on the environment.

BLOOM

We've partnered with BLOOM™ to use reclaimed algae in the soles of our BLOOM shoes. BLOOM takes excess algae, which would otherwise harm the planet, and transforms it into a lightweight, durable form, replacing the plastic materials used in conventional soles. BLOOM shoes deliver the style and comfort you love - in a more sustainable package.

Less water makes a world of difference. H2Lo denim styles utilize an innovative wash process that uses 50% less water than the typical process. Over the next few years, we’ll keep expanding this initiative to reduce water and energy consumption during our manufacturing process.

DENIM RECYCLING

We’re proud to join forces with Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program that salvages worn denim and transforms it into natural cotton fiber housing insulation. This collaboration helps us keep textile waste out of landfills, and repurposes your old jeans as an effective insulation solution. Bring your worn denim into Ariat Brand Shops and Outlet Stores to receive $10 off your next pair of Ariat jeans.

World-class design and craftsmanship means every Ariat boot is built to last. Ariat Reboot makes it easy to sell and shop secondhand, helping our boots stay where they belong: in the stirrup, on the ranch, or by the door, waiting for their next adventure. When you resell your boots, you're not just making a sale, you're giving someone else the joy of owning a pair of Ariat boots—and helping us create a more sustainable world.

ORGANIC COTTON

Organic cotton is better for the planet—and for the farmers. Organic farming means no GMO seeds or toxic chemicals are used; instead, farmers use traditional techniques and natural solutions to manage pests. This helps build a healthier soil, reduce water and energy use, and keep the farmers and their families safe.

Using recycled polyester makes us less reliant on petroleum and allows us to divert plastic water bottles from landfills, helping cut down on soil contamination and air and water pollution. Recycled polyester also takes a lot less energy to produce, reducing our (and your) carbon footprint.

RICE HUSK

Rice husks—the outer shells that surround each grain of rice—are usually thrown away after milling. To keep them from ending up in landfills, we blend them into a midsole and sole, creating an eco-friendlier base for our shoes. In the process, we're reducing waste and our use of petroleum-based materials.

For our Morsby boot collection, we developed a brand-new sole made of 30% recycled rubber—material that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. Our Morsby boots are also made with responsibly sourced leathers, making them both stylish and sustainable.
